Jessica Clayton is the Division Executive of Programs and Development for the Spokane Workforce Council. Over her 13+ year career in workforce development, she has worn many hats including youth job coach, grant writer, leader of integrated service delivery and trauma informed program development at both Spokane’s youth one-stop and WorkSource Spokane. In her current role at the SWC, she is responsible for overseeing the grant writing, strategic program development, contracting, grant management, policy, compliance, and serves as Local EO Officer. She has expertise in trauma informed approaches, braiding funding creatively for maximum impact, and a proven track record of innovative approaches, such as integrating childcare resources in to the local workforce system. Jessica received her Bachelors in Sociology from Whitworth University, and her Masters in Social Work from University of Washington Tacoma.
