Compliance Coordinator/Equal Opportunity Officer
Benton Franklin WDC
Kennewick, Washington
My name is Gabby Torres, and I serve as the Compliance Coordinator and Local Equal Opportunity Officer for Benton-Franklin Workforce Development Council (BFWDC). I am committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best. My passion for inclusiveness and equality extends beyond the workplace—these values also guide the way we serve our customers and our community.
With over 15 years of experience in program administration and compliance for federally funded Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs and more than a year in my current role supporting Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs, I work diligently to ensure our policies and practices uphold the highest standards of nondiscrimination and equal opportunity. My expertise includes compliance oversight, diversity initiatives, conflict resolution, and training.
I know that achieving equality is an ongoing journey—one that requires listening, learning, and adapting every step of the way.
